A Message from
Our Founder and Head of School
Hello and welcome to GCS! My name is Mrs. Silcott, the founder and Head of Glyndon Christian School. For the past ten years, this building has been my second home. From the very beginning, I saw the potential for what our school could become. With lots of prayer and support, we opened our first kindergarten class in 2023, and in 2024 we took a big step forward with the opening of The Schoolhouse - our elementary school.
My heart as Head of School is to build strong relationships with our children, families, staff, and the wider Glyndon community. I’m a hands-on educator, so you’ll usually find me in the classroom rather than in my office. As a biological, adoptive, and foster mom, I know firsthand the challenges of finding the perfect school for our little ones.
I can’t wait to show you what makes Glyndon Christian School so special. I truly believe you’ll find a second home here - just like I did.
